Globe valve (ball valve)
Stops fluid flow by pressing down on the valve body
feature
The valve has a diaphragm inside the valve body, and the valve plug is pressed against the seat surface of the diaphragm to stop the flow of fluid.
Since the flow direction changes in an S-shape within the body, the pressure loss is higher than that of other valves, but by changing the shape of the valve plug, it can also be used for control operations to regulate the flow rate.
